Jalé Beach-Va Inha Beach

Hike description

Only recommended to go with high tide.
This is a short walk perfect to discover the surroundings of Jalé. Just follow the Agripalma road that leads to the palm plantation direction north. Turn on the second road left right before Va Inha Bay and right after you will see a small trail going down on the right. Follow it until you reach the beach. As soon as you arrive in the beach you will have a great view for the pristine inaccessible coast of Sao Tomé. Follow the full length of the beach until you reach a small waterfall perfect for a refreshing shower. If you keep going over the rocks you will find a double entrance cave excavated by the sea on the rock face.

How to Get There

Get a shared Taxi in the Capital to Porto Alegre. Once there get a MotoTaxi to Praia Jalé.

The full trail is in an easy Road. Only when you arrive on the beach you will have to walk on the rocks.
